What is Pan's off-speed pitch? The last strikeout looked like a fading change-up.

Also, Rojas is such a defensive stud...his CF defense has to be worth a couple of WAR even if he's a .230-ish hitter with walks and power, right?

That definitely looked like a change that moved away from the hitter. I think Pan came with about 6 different pitches and they are working through them to determine his best mix. I do wonder if they are going to start stretching him out more. He has been in 2-3 inning mode for awhile but assume the intent is still to develop him as a starter.

Maybe he threw a lot of pitches cumulatively last year and they want a lighter workload this year as he gets used to pro ball.

That's really good video quality, I wonder why the FSL teams are so reluctant to stream their games? I guess they don't think anyone wants to watch a game with one camera angle (which compared to some minor league broadcasts that doesn't seem like such a bad thing!)

It is reliability, distribution, and the other parts of the game. The video they are taking is geared towards evaluation, not entertainment.

It is a splitter from Pan. As for stretching him out or not, there has been a big velocity difference in short bursts vs when they stretched him out a bit. Not sure if that drives their thinking, but he has had a different fastball in both roles.

Ethan Wilson deserves special mention, celebrating his return to the five-hole with a 3/5, 2 2B and a HR performance.

He has to play CF. He needs to be flipped for Marsh which also might allow Marsh to recover his stroke.

I wouldn't get too excited about Crawford. I remember someone, recently said he was a "slap Hitter" and wasn't too impressed with his hitting. Poor Kid...hitting over .340 with 10 doubles and 5 triples. Keep slapping kid. I'm in your corner.

Crawford is 19 with a frame that should fill out the next three years.
MILB has him listed at 6'1 175, at the draft 6'3 175, so what gives? Did he lose 2 inches?

While I don't think he's going to maintain a .426 BABIP, with his speed, and line drive power, he should have a BABIP north of .350 over his career.

Boyd is the slap hitter, but he has better plate discipline than Crawford. Both have plus plus speed.
Boyd went in the 11th rd b/c he's not nearly as polished, but it won't surprise if he turns it on in a year or two.
