If they do send Bohm down for a few weeks it would be logical for Williams to be the potential roster replacement. Bohm going down would put a left-handed bat like Maton or Miller in the lineup more often to play 3B and they just added another LH bat in Jankowski to the bench.
Williams would give them a right-handed bat who could play in the outfield or at 3B against left-handed pitching while giving them someone on the bench that could fill in anywhere. He deserves a shot and I am pretty sure he'll get one in the next few weeks. He'll be killing his shot to play in the actual Olympics because if he plays really well getting the US there this week, he might be in the majors by the time the actual Olympics come around or at least on the 40-man roster by that time.
