Games on Monday down in the complex leagues:

A couple of interesting things. Aroon Escobar hit another home run (3rd) down in the DSL.

And one rare in-season promotion from DSL to FCL a few days ago. Ricardo Rosario is a 19-year-old LF from Venezuela who was one of the lower tier (no bonus announced) signings from July of 2019. No season in 2020 and he was decent in the DSL last year (.235, .646 OPS with 18 BBs and 12 SBs). Not great but credible for his first season. Went 9-26 with 4 XBH in the DSL to start this season and got promoted to FCL. Started 4-8 for FCL and is now leading off for them. Remember the Phillies give prominent lineup positions to players that they like as prospects, so I think he is someone to watch.

Anyone have a guess on how to pronounce "Aroon"?

I would guess either like "Aaron" or "Ah-ROHN" rather than like "Maroon." It kind of depends how much the the player (or teams) Americanize it as well. Like, Galvis and Neris both went that way (which never stopped Ron Darling from doing it incorrectly).

Roundup from last week has a note on Aroon Escobar that I forgot about. He was the player that was a cousin of Ronald Acuna Jr.
