KMC, he was not bad. he one hit Hartford. but.... was out after 2 innings. I think it was 56 pitches to get through. walked bases loaded in the first, then the only hit he gave up plated the run. K'd 2 in the inning. Just too wild. I walked down to the bullpen when he was warming up. he looked wild even in the beginning toss. When the catcher got down, he looked ok. breaking pitch looked real good. the fastball got to the catcher in a hurry. he just did not have any command at all. Disappointing. you could tell he was disgusted with himself. otherwise, I left after Hartford tied the game at 5. Rojas and De La Cruz had some nice hard hits. the second baseman, who I never heard of, hit 2 frozen ropes for homers. Really drilled. Then I was standing behind the backstop when Iser hit his out. gone as soon as he hit it. I could hear Harry in my head with the call, "High, Towering Drive to DEEP right field". high over the pool in right field. a little sprinkle during the 3rd inning, other wise a nice night at the park for as long as i was there. Shame about McGarry.
