Andrick Nava sighting for the first time this year. And why the heck is Grenny Cumana taking up space in that lineup?

Miller with 3 easy shutout innings. Probably time to get him to a full season team. Gessner much better in his second outing.

And Nava 1-2 at the plate. I wonder if he is someone they might push to Clearwater after a few weeks since he was already very good at GCL 2 years ago (even if FCL is probably a bit better play quality than GCL since some players would have been at Williamsport if that level existed).

DSL starts Monday BTW. We should hopefully see the debuts of Rickardo Perez and Yemel Flores who probably would have been at GCL pre-pandemic.

Erik MIller is on the AA roster. He's with the FCL Phillies on a rehab assignment. Presumably, if/when he's back in shape, he'll go back to Reading.

He has never been to Reading though. Or High A ball. It would be reasonable for him to have some intermediate stops before Reading, most likely Jersey Shore. It really does not matter what roster he is currently on. It is what level is he ready for.

Shame I missed it by one day. I am in Clearwater for a few days and made it down to Bradenton for some of the DH yesterday. I saw from about the bottom of the third game 1 until about the fourth inning of game 2.

Kendall Simmons was hit in the helmet with a pitch--not sure if it was the bill or the helmet itself--but that's why he left the game he played. He immediately got up under his own power after he was hit, and walked off with the trainer. I'm sure that kick-starts the concussion protocol, and understandably so.
