Daniel Brito now has a .822 OPS. This was from a couple of nights ago:

He was solid in winter ball also this past season. Skinny guy who is likely filling out a bit. Does not play SS any more, but one could actually see a Cesar Hernandez type career out of him. Cesar of course made the majors in his age 23 season after spending most of it in AAA so Brito is a year behind, but everybody is a year behind now. Defense supposedly pretty good though no longer a SS. He also probably needs to become a better base stealer.
It is nice to be pleasantly surprised from a prospect that many had given up on. Maybe when Luke Williams graduates they can shoehorn him onto that top 30 (though he might be top 20 now). Note he was unranked on Matt Winkelman's preseason top 59. Williams came in at 54.
