Cave 2-7, BB, 2 HR in the double-header. Average down to .365... He has an amazing 43 XBH in 200 AB. He is over the Mendoza line on XBH alone.
There is definitely a logic to replace Hall with Cave if Bryce is able to play 1B adequately. The one hesitation is that Hall had actually been hitting almost as well as Cave in AAA. The major league lineup still needs a right-handed bat too and that is more the Harrison roster spot than the LH fielder that pushes Schwarber to DH over half the time.
