Can't imagine this does not extend to Clearwater also (and might be the reason for Abel not starting this week).
On PhuturePhilles Jim has 6 players being added to the 60-day IL from FCL and Clearwater over the past few days including Johan Rojas and Jamari Baylor. He thinks it might be COVID rather than injury-related and just a way to massage the 180-player limit. While this might help activate some draftees without releases, it also would me a logjam if we wanted to re-activate the COVID players and stay under the 180-person limit.
As I have said before, that 180-person limit should not apply to the new draft class. They should just do it at the end of the season. They are making silly roster moves and pushing against illogical roster limits for no developmental reason at all.
