I think he is fine. the K rate/inning is really good. just repetition is needed. Don't include him DD!gm
I can't put my finger on it, but Mick Abel gives me Brody Colvin vibes...great stuff, just struggles to get outs and pitch multiple innings. Colvin was highly touted, made it to Reading as a young pitcher but never could live up to his stuff

Well that can't be good for his trade value (joke. Unfunny joke).
Abel may just be getting a couple of weeks off in Late July/Early August. I hope. They do tend to rest their younger pitchers during the season...
Well, it would be against the rules to just put him on the IL. But yeah, hopefully that's all it is. He's sore and they don't think twice about doing it whereas a major leaguer or a guy with no need for rest would pitch through it.
