$300K bonus guy Raylin Heredia 2-2 in his DSL debut. He was the 5th highest Latin American bonus this year after Flores, Perez, Marco Soto ($375K), and Leonardo Rondon ($350K).

Rondon also playing very well (5-13, 2 3B, 1092 OPS). Soto yet to debut among the top 5 (plus the Taiwanese infielder).

Was working on a bunch of different things, but Logan O'Hoppe has been hot, .288/.350/.503 in 43 June/July games, but that isn't the interesting thing. BB% K% by month

On another front, it's interesting to think about Moniak and Ortiz in terms of their value and ability. Both of them have a very good pedigree from when they were acquired, but both have been seen as underperforming. The missing data from 2020 really makes it hard to read whether they've improved or are just on a SSS hot streak. I would think they are probably under-valued right now and that we would not be able to get much for either in trade, so I'd prefer to gamble that each has actually found the talent that led them to be high-level acquisitions. But I'm always tempted to believe in the minor league guys too easily.
