Song was 92-94 in his first inning but more 90-91 in his second inning. Building up stamina is just going to take time, though I imagine if he sits 5 days sometimes between outings he'll be more 94 than 90. The 4-pitch mix is nice, but he probably does not need all 4 unless he is going to a longer (3 inning role).
This all depends on whether the Phillies think he is worth keeping (which means the rest of this year and then all winter on the 40). Then he'd have all 3 options next year and they would certainly kick him down to AA or AAA to stretch him back out as a starter.
Right now it is a back end 5th starter projection. He'd really need to be sitting 95 to be seen as more of a mid-rotation projection.
