DSL Red got 1-hit this morning. There seem to be a lot of low-hit games in the DSL, at least in part because many of them are 7 innings.
Last night Abel had the best curve going I’ve ever seen him throw in addition to the plus slider. Command still a bit spotty though.
Cal Stevenson has the rare box score line of scoring 2 runs as a pinch runner who did not stay in the game playing in the field.
How did that happen?
Pinch ran for the catcher (Marchan) in the top of the 9th. He scored on that. They batted around and he walked and scored again. Then the backup catcher came in for the bottom of the 9th.
