Just curious, but are DSL teams playing what look to be 7-inning games by design?
That was my take
New strike zone going into effect for robo ump games in the Low-A Southeast today. After much research and feedback, MLB is widening the zone by 4 full inches (2 on each side of plate), while shaving roughly 3.5 inches off the top. The depth of where the pitches are being registered has also been pushed back to the middle of the plate, rather than the front. This should take away the strike calls on breaking balls in the dirt— John Vittas ( @JohnVittas3 ) July 20, 2021

It seems to me these type of issues should have been worked out in testing before being put into games?
Only if you think the games actually matter. Which MLB obviously does not.
