Rondon has really transformed himself this season--Average up over 150 points from his 17-year-old season, and a lot of additional power. He's playing 2B and DHing...I like seeing them try him at 3B and 1B so there is some versatility as he moves up (although at 5'8" he's not likely to play 1B, ever). He steals enough bases he should have the requisite speed for OF if he needs to move there. You know the Phils like him since he's batting 3rd most of the time (maybe all of the time) for DSL White. Best, with a March birthday he's a young 18. If I were the Phils I might move him to the FCL now.
Honestly, the DSL teams are pretty loaded with young position player prospects who are playing well relative to league.
Leanez, Escobar, Soto, and even catcher Mendez with DSL Red, and Villavicencio, Rondon, Gutierrez, Heredia, and Jorge Garcia with DSL White.
