Is Zach Haake a prospect? 0.00 ERA in high A and AA so far (small sample). He was awful in '22 and '21, we signed him as a FA after KC decided (reasonably) to let him go. He has missed almost a full year due to injuries--broken hand, oblique strain, and the dreaded shoulder soreness. He was a top 30 prospect for KC a couple of years ago.

"The Phillies have signed free agent RHP Zach Haake to a minor league contract. He’s a 6’7 hurler who was recently released by the Kansas City Royals, he was their 6th round draft selection in the 2018 draft from the University of Kentucky. Haake appeared in 66 minor league games for the Royals organization, 46 as a starter. He’s got a three pitch mix (FB - 93 to 97 mph), power slider (82-85 mph) and change up (86-88 mph)."

Sounds like there is enough raw talent there to give him a look. I would not put too much in the SSS (since his bad start was one level below that). But we have a pattern of looking for big kids where we smooth out their motion and repertoire and turn them into at least useful bullpen pieces.
