At least our future catchers are looking good today down in complex ball. Navas 2 hits, 3 RBI and a HR. Tait 3-4 with 4 runs and 2 2B. Ferrebus with 3 hits.

They probably can throw pretty hard as they are catchers.

After today, Tait is batting .321/.383/.518 on the season and is batting .500 in July with 1 strikeout in 9 games this month (1 walk and 2 HBP).

So Tait is behind Painter, Crawford, and Miller...and I could argue ahead of Caba and Klassen. If I knew he could stick at catcher I'd probably have him 4th in the system. Probably 5th behind Caba for me, I guess, until we get more information about his defense.

If I had to guess prospects most likely to be traded, I'm thinking along the lines of Jean Cabrera or Sam Aldegheri, bottom of the top ten types. One of them and maybe a 21-30 type should get you a RH platoon OF.

Apparently "thrown out" didn't mean ejected from the game, but out trying to steal? That makes more sense now
