Pedro Peralta is a relatively short DSL prospect with a big arm. Was a $140K signing in 2023, so one of our larger pitching bonuses ($150K was the highest Latin American pitching bonus that year after Pan). Before we get too excited, he does have a 8.76 ERA....

One common theme when watching the Phils dsl teams is their right handed pitchers can really seem to spin the ball. Lots of impressive looking breaking balls. Not many guys pitching higher than 92-94.

A lot of their lefties are big, strong , projectable looking guys with less than impressive stuff.

looks like Sam got drilled in his AA debut. but when I looked at the boxscore, he actually did pretty well. looking forward to seeing him pitch.
