Bergolla has yet to walk or strikeout in his pro career through 24 plate appearances.
that's what I like to see. a player that gets his bat on the ball.gm
If he doesn't have a ton of power that sounds like a .270/.300/.380 kinda hitter tops. That is a bad hitter.
I jinxed him as he just walked. Still no Ks or XBHs though.
The dude is 17, he'll probably hit a double sometime before he turns 20...
He's 1/1 with 2 walks so far today.
333/386/333 (what he is now) is useful...
He's 17....he would be going in to his senior year of high school...
plus the SS that the Phils just picked up has stats worse than that. those stats with a great glove I would take. unless a man by the name of Turner is manning that position for the next 7 years.gm

Hmm. Looks like Dave Dombrowski isn't letting grass grow under his feet. Is McGarry headed to AAA already?
happy, not really happy, to see this, I was going to go out to see him pitch tonight. saved me a trip. Thanks Julio. Covid??gm
I kind of wanted to see him at AA for a little while longer. Lesser hitters but mistakes go out of the park in Reading so it is good experience. I don't think they need him in the majors this year. We have a pretty deep bullpen now if we consider Knebel and Nelson the weakest parts.
