July standouts from Steve Potter. Lee and Falter with strong months unexpectedly which probably helped their trade value. One name I had not seen mentioned much is Danny Wilkinson the undrafted LHP we signed out of Nova last year. He has always missed bats at a high rate. Here are his full year stats and then July:
2023 - 43,1 IP, 24 H, 35 BB, 82 K, 4.98 ERA
July - 15.1 IP, 6 H, 9 BB, 33 K, 0.59 ERA
It is all small sample size as he was missing bats with a 7+ ERA until the end of June with a lot of walks and many of those runners came around to score. But maybe he has turned a corner and is a left-handed reliever to watch.
Note - 22 years old at Clearwater, so not young for his level.
