After slow starts the DSL teams are now a combined 34-24. Big difference of course is that we kept our high profile signings in the DSL instead of GCL this year (and probably half of the players that would have gone to FCL stayed in the DSL because of the roster limits).
That aside, however, everybody is in the same boat of leaving their prospects in the DSL. The Phillies' average age is close to the league average and not every organization is running 2 clubs. So it is possible that we have had a decent last 2 years in mid-level prospects (guys like today's pitcher Giuseppe Velasquez). The record is impressive in that light. We do not seem to be keeping too many older prospects down there.
