They have a bunch of OFs who can fly, now whether they can hit remains to be seen.

Abel’s sinker, change and curve looked like junk and his fastball command spotty today. I think the gun was off because the velo on both him and McGarry was 92-93 but it looked faster.

Velo 92-95, which seems to be up a tick from last year. Really good 82 mph change but all he had for a breaking ball was a ‘meh’ cutter. He kept throwing something at 86 mph that just looked like an uninspiring sinker but I don’t know why there would be so much separation off his 4 seam. He looks pretty rigid and unathletic on the mound. But that said, besides Aldegari, he’s pretty much the only left handed starting pitch ing prospect in the system.
