Best start of the season for McFarlane. 4IP, 3H, 0R, 1BB, 6K

FYI we are not too far away from FCL games. Phillies play Saturday. DSL usually does not start until June though apparently there are intersquad games going on now down there.

Stuff still sitting around 94. Entirely possible he just needs more time to build up or they’ve advised him to dial it back to get more innings, but his stuff looks pedestrian and his motion very slow and deliberate. Some good change ups though!

DeMartini’s opposite field double with the bases loaded was a sweet line drive to the wall. Impressive piece of hitting.

Tait and Escobar have homered for Clearwater already

Our two best MILB hitters in the early going. Concerned about Aidan Miller?

Tait’s homers were 109 and 110 off the bat.

Dombroski has an interesting arm. 92-94 with one of the better sinkers I’ve seen from a Phillies pitcher in quite a while. The sweeper was good, he threw a bunch of change ups with good arm speed but not much dip, and threw strikes and worked quickly. That kind of stuff should keep playing well at the higher levels.

His MO so far had been that he’s a slow starter. Let’s see where he is in a month.

5 errors in 16 games might be though.

Isn't that is 6th of the year so far? Kid is impressing!

What happened to Griff McGarry? I saw he was on the IL again.

Note that 6 of the 9 Jersey Shore starters are hitting below .200. Wow. I know its hard to hit in JS, especially the spring, but that’s almost impossibly bad.

Currently in the FSL, Aroon Escobar is 3rd in OPS and Eduardo Tait is 9th
