I did not realize this until seeing a write-up today, but CLW is going for a 6-game sweep of Tampa. Last two victories have been shut-outs. Today's pitcher, Mayer, has had a very slow start this year (coming off of two disappointing years after being drafted in the 5th round) and he needs to put a good game together or he may find himself heading to the bullpen.

Jersey Shore puts up a 10 spot in the bottom of the 8th to win 13-6

13 runs on 9 base hits total. Efficient use of opportunities.

CLW did sweep the Tampa Tarpons (Yankees) 6 out of 6 games. Mayer gave up one hit (a HR) in 5 IP for the win. Always good to thrash the Yanks at any level. Either the CLW pitching figured things out or the Yanks are awful at the plate.

LV did the efficiency thing themselves with 10 runs on 6 hits.
