Abel's last start was better than his first one...even good prospects sometimes need time to adjust to a new level. Leet's give him a month or two.

It might be wet in Scranton, tonight, anyway.

Can't take April too seriously except at Clearwater, go from Florida to nasty weather.
Things generally settle down in May and June.

Aldegheri went on the IL yesterday but it does not seem that serious (though any back injury is a long term concern).

Looking at the current stats I wonder if Jordan Dissin is a little better than we thought. Still young (turns 22 in late May) and is hitting well at Jersey Shore. Solid BB/K ratio and I think he gets decent defensive reviews. Tait seems our best young catching prospect probably followed by Hettiger. Dissin probably belongs in the next tier with Rickets and Nava. And he is a local kid to boot.

Dissin is one of the best defensive catchers in the minors leagues. He is a local kid from Pottstown PA. The hit tool is really starting to show especially with his opposite field power. He is noticeably bigger than last year. The play he made the other night to pick off the guy at first just shows you how good he is, short hopped a wild throw pop and go.

I believe he is the best catching prospect in our system and that is saying something looking at our top 30 list. I think by mid season he will break that.

Just my humble opinion, I have watched the kid in person several times.
