If Sanchez has another good outing, he's probably with the big team in 2-3 days.

Sanchez might be the 5th starter next time through the rotation. No off days this week so one more Strahm start. Really need Ranger back though.

Rojas with a HR today, 7 hits in his last 12 ABs and two walks to boot!

Carlos De la Cruz also hit his 3rd.

CLW is above .500 hitting .196 with a 558 OPS.

Clearwater is our only relatively young team so not too worried about the offense yet. Crawford and Boyd are doing OK. Rincones is also up to an 881 OPS even with that 0-4 4K debut. Of course he should be in Jersey Shore already.

Clearwater is running out some interesting starting pitching prospects (Jersey Shore unfortunately much less so). Aldegheri and Estanista have been very good. Pan looks as advertised. McFarlane's stuff could dominate if he can command it.

I think they may be conservative promoting from Clearwater to Jersey Shore, b/c it's easier to work with players at Clearwater, then push them out of the nest when deemed ready.

I don't think the Phillies are especially conservative when promoting from Clearwater to Jersey Shore. The gap between the two levels is a little greater now and sometimes the college guys need to play somewhere. We were pretty aggressive with Hao Yu Lee last year.

Rincones is a special case to go a little slow since he was injured and did not play after the draft. Plus, a bit of a late bloomer from a smaller school. He'll be in Jersey Shore in May. Yhoswar Garcia needs to keep up the payments on that Clearwater retirement plan after all.
