Really sucks for Stairs who gave up the announcing job to be the hitting coach and now could be out of both.. although he could take LAs spot on radio

He mentioned earlier in the year that he pursued the job because he did not expect to be asked back in the announcer role.

Stairs will be fine, if he's got the coaching bug he'll have to consider his options but if no one snaps him up he'll presumably get interviewed by the new manager.
