Following tonight’s game, the Phillies announce the following transactions:
[ul]*]RHP Chad Billingsley was diagnosed with mild flexor tendinitis. There was no structural damage found. Subsequently, he has been placed on the 15-day DL with a right flexor strain, retroactive to July 19.

]RHP David Buchanan optioned to Lehigh Valley (AAA)./:m][/ul]
Additionally, the Phillies will execute the following transactions before tomorrow’s game (July 21):
[ul]*]RHP Aaron Nola contract selected from Lehigh Valley (AAA).

]RHP Jerome Williams (left hamstring strain) activated from the 15-day DL./:m][/ul]
