I'll second this. Jim's the best, and as PC noted, he does actually reach out to fans (I don't recall the subject - except it was Phillies-related - but I do remember a couple of phone conversations with him...too many years ago!). The list of contributors, which was only four or five pages long last night, is getting long - and you'll recognize lots of names. Good company to be in. Good cause. Good family.
Also, a minor correction - this fundraiser wasn't started by Jim, but by Leslie Gudel, who also wrote the "story" that appears on the site.
