There was a time when the trend of taking games off of free broadcast TV and putting them on paid cable also sucked - especially with Comcast refusing to let some of its competitors carry their sports channel. But it's unfortunate Comcast doesn't give Peacock to its cable subscribers anymore as well. This is all gonna shake out somehow, but not for a long time.
$5.99 is probably a little more than I'd pay to watch one game (I already have a heavily discounted annual Peacock sub) but if there's like, one other thing you want to watch on Peacock for a month it's probably worth it. And there's always just audio (if you're in Phillies broadcast area or have MLB.TV).
