I saw he's 0 for 17 career against Scherzer, or something like that. So, you could argue, don't end the hot streak, or you could argue that playing him would end it. (You could also argue small sample head to heads are meaningless, of course, but we'd need Kapler back for that probably.)
Walker has a .231 career BA with two HRs against Scherzer, FWIW. And Cutch .071. Bruce .300.
