The positive from this series in Atlanta is as noted, they win the series in Atlanta, 2 games to one, and they were in the third game to the end, losing by a run. It is hard to be upset about winning 2 of 3 in Atlanta.
The season was lost some time ago and even though they still have a chance of post season play, we pretty much have been out of it for a couple weeks at least.
They still need 4 wins (in 11 games remaining) to have their first winning season in quite awhile. I certainly hope to see that and a win or two more than that by the end of the season. I'd love to see them take 2 of the 3 in Cleveland this weekend and 2 or 3 of the 5 in Washington. Then finish up at home by winning that series with Miami.
