Late to the game, and I hope it doesn't matter,but I continue to be amazed at how Thompson almost always pitches with a defense that seems to have at least 3 players out of position [Hoskins in not better than Altherr, Crawford is not better than Franco and Franco is not better than Hoskins.]
The one pitcher on the staff who needs that solid defense is the guy who never gets it. Like I said, hope it doesn't matter, but my guess is it will at some point.
