I agree that it is way too soon to make conclusions on Bohm, though I may be ready to do that about his defense. There is a reason there are not that many 6'5" 3B in history and I just don't think he can stay there athletically.

Now there still could be a really good bat buried in there, but unless there is much more power coming it is very possible the combo of plus offense (850 OPS) with minus defense is really only an average player.

I'm in the move Bohm to LF camp. I think he can handle it out there. His time at first base wasn't pretty either.

Bohm actually grades out pretty well in straight ahead running speed. He is not a burner, but he should be much better than Hoskins out there. And the ball transfer issues he has are just going to be less important out there. The offensive bar is a bit higher of course, so his chances of being above average are still not great.

But if you move Bohm to LF then he needs that much better offense which moves him to average IMHO.

If you move him to 1B then he just isn’t a good enough offensive player to be a average 1B.
