I mentioned that Lorenzen had thrown 90 pitches in five innings and speculated that he might be done for the night. He came out and faced Olson, giving up a home run for the second time in the game, and then Hoffman came in. It is always a debatable decision on when to change pitchers. I would have made the change to start the inning, but had Lorenzen gotten 3 quick outs, I would have been wrong.
A split if fine. Offense good in both games. Pitching, some good, some not.
