The Phils pen has been way strong. Hard to believe what we just saw - NONE of them pitched well and any of them could have won the game with an average performance. Of the three meltdowns, Soto's was the most painful for me. Seemed to be JUST missing his best pitches.
Here's hoping Kimbrel can regain his chops with better rest. Agree with everybody - we all know he's been overused.
Watching the tape at the bottom of the games, I noticed that Gray, the Minny pitcher that dusted off the Phils, is #1 in the AL ERA... so he dusts off just about everybody. Hadn't realized he is that good.
