Oh, good thing I didn't plan around that. I was almost somewhere with bad Internet (but adequate cable TV) this morning. When you look at the Phillies schedule it doesn't really tell you if something is the back-up game, it just says "out of market only." Those markets being Tampa and NY, obviously.
It occurs to me that while many of the broadcast teams around MLB are actually more unbearable than ours, it makes more sense to watch the road broadcasts this season, since they can actually see the game. Yesterday our announcers admitted they can't really appreciate everything from TV monitors, and spent part of the broadcast calling attention to the fact that they were at CBP (they even showed the Phandemic crew yesterday - I guess those guys figure they may as well stand outside and watch on the monitors, can't go to a bar)
