I'm still not unhappy with what they showed the last couple of nights. Gonna be more games like those than this probably.
Of course the recent exuberance - and much of the last two months - came at the expense of lesser teams for the most part. And the Mets never cooled off (which is to say, the Phillies trailed them by around the same amount - 10 or so games - on June 1 as before this series. Even the gap they closed with the Braves last week was mostly because the Mets beat up on them as well.
Not much has changed, they just have to stay competive, keep beating the bad teams, and hope Harper does raise things a level.
