Ha, I don't see how this board could claim the Bohm call cost the Phillies 1.5 runs given how many times it seems like they leave 'em loaded or strand runners ISP (to the point where we just assume they always will). But of course they could have scored as many as four. And the ump denied them the chance to find out either way.
I didn't think it was that egregious in real-time, and from the umpires vantage point (versus the luxury we had of watching on TV, or from the graphic above). Scott Lauber thought it was too close to take. And Schmidt said Bohm was probably more frustrated with himself than with the ump.
