True true. With no Schwarber (and no Segura yesterday) a less imposing line-up, but then this series also isn't being won with offense (i.e. Vierling on Friday but also pitching). I'm just guessing the Phillies have had a better offense in recent months, and that's without Harper and Segura for much of it.
Of course we don't have to guess.
April OPS: Mets .724 Phillies .718
May OPS Mets .771 Phillies .707
June OPS Phillies .772 Mets .670
July OPS Mets 745 Phillies .710
August OPS Mets .805 Phillies .769
Guess you really can see Harper's absence there as well as the dead weight of Didi and Herrera (and even Moniak if memory serves), while August includes the surging of JT, Bohm and Stott and now Segura, despite Marsh not adding anything. But yeah, Mets are better, and maybe even more so recently. April is probably most surprising to me, while May and June cancel each other out.
