I'd say Gabe made a few mistakes with the bullpen usage tonight (doing all the way back to PH for Eflin probably). But he's got what he's got. With Neris gone, Garcia still out and, apparently, about as much confidence in the lefties as Ed has, here we are watching Arano twice. But he got it.

17 hits in Game 1 and they lose, 1-hit for most of Game 2 and they win.

Thanks to Arano for saving Hunter from more abuse from phans than he will already have earned.

Phillies get split of the double header. Lose first on walk off home run in the tenth. Win second game in spite of Hunter messing up a brilliant one hit shutout with two outs in the ninth. Hunter fails 3 times to get the final out, but Armano comes on to earn the save. Nola wins #12 (12-2).

Not much offense. Nola with 3RBIs and only Phillies hit on til the ninth was the offense in game two.

Tomorrow is a big game because it will be hard to beat DeGrom on Wednesday and I cant stand the idea of losing a series to the Mets.

Ya never know, but agreed, gotta get the split if nothing else. The way this series has gone so far De Los Santos could pitch a shutout, or they could be awful tomorrow and then beat DeGrom 1-0.
