Seriously, I have seen some signs of hope in Kingery this past several games, but he clearly is not comfortable at the plate and continues to struggle. Even the his swings in that at bat looked awkward.

i think with the 40 man situation coming up next year, anderson has run his course. decent fastball today, i saw 92,93 some times but his so called curve ball wasn't too good. it looked like he couldn't get a good grip on his 12 to 6 and that other slow curve looked bad. he threw 2 of them on the outside corner for strikes but the other ones just sort of floated. some were very hittable. didn't see any change ups (maybe missed them). will be 25 next year. too bad. i was in his corner before and after he got hurt.

His stuff has kind of settled into 90% of what it was at his post-surgical peak. He is fine on the 40-man for now, but agree there could come a time where it makes sense to outright him. Depth is nice though. We have shown that you really need a half dozen extra pitchers on the 40-man roster that you can bring up as needed. We could also trade some prospects to make the roster crunch next winter less problematic.
