There are 78 games remaining. If the Phillies go just .500 for the rest of the season they would end at 86-76. 90 games is attainable.

I was at the game. Agreed Franco should have been running out of the gate on that one, but I was kinda glad he didn't, because he may not have gotten to 2nd anyway.

MIght have been close. Was equally impressed with Alfaro getting to second though. Hustling all the way coupled with decent speed and instincts. He is always going to be a bit of a work in progress, but he just makes us a better team out there even if he strikes out 40% of the time. Look out if he can cut that down to the 25%-30% range.

Agreed. If his offense improves, and I think it will, he's a top-10 catcher. He's thrown out 17 runners already (although I think he got a gift yesterday).

At some point the fans will come back, right? Stadium was empty yesterday.

I took my two boys, drove down from NY, swung by the northeast to pick up my father, went to the game, drove my father home, then went back to NY. Left my house 10 am, got home 10:25 pm.

Definitely worth it.
