So what they are spinning it as a way to get Nick going rather than a way to get fewer ABs for Trea. Seems like Bohm would be the move there.

That trade deadline acquisition will give Thomson more options too. Clear they have no intention of just rolling with Rojas or Pache (and in fact, Rojas will go to the minors eventually) or they would let Rojas play more. But I guess it makes sense to see how Cave fits for a few more days too.

Some don't think the lineup is that important, but I do. Big Rob seems to hand out the order, just expects everyone to fulfill his role and sticks with it. Hasn't worked for Turner, but maybe down at #7 he'll lose the pressure to carry the team and become the player he's always been. Great move.

Hoping the good Nola shows up and the Phils remember how to hit. Special good luck to Cave. He needs another good game and can't turn in an ofer if he wants to continue in LF.

Something needed to be done to try to get Turner going, and out out of the top of the lineup where he’s not been producing. Doing this against a rookie making his 3rd career start could turn out to be a good thing
