The thing about Quintana is he seems to have been in decline the past few years, not finishing with a sub-4.50 ERA season since 2018, including a 6.43 in 2021. This year he started out strong, but over his last nine games - including his a 7.0 IP, 0 ER performance his last outing against the Marlins - he has a 4.79 ERA.
Of course, we don't know if the Jekyll or Hyde version of the lineup will show up tonight, so maybe he posts another solid performance and gains some momentum (though then they'd be driving the asking price up in any trade negotiations, so that could be seen as counterproductive ).
