Throw home was there well ahead of the runner but Knapp didn't hold it.
Should be no RBI since the runner stopped at third and only headed home when Herrera threw the ball toward second. He ran on the lobbed throw but the relay home still was in plenty of time.

Knapp may be the worst back up catcher in baseball. Also Odubel has to think out there.
The throw was a short hop that Knapp had to field at about the same time as the runner was arriving. No error charged - should be a “team error”.
Jean Segura
In play, out(s) (93.8 mph sinker)
Jean Segura grounds out, third baseman Austin Riley to first baseman Freddie Freeman.

But certainly a play many catchers make. Knapp was in position to make the play if he holds the ball. Not easy, but doable. In fact, the runner looked clearly out until the ball went flying out of the collision with the runner. The shoddiest part of the play was the throw to second that allowed the runner to think he could score after stopping at third.

Herrera, Segura, and Knapp all contributed to allowing the run to score. I’d like to expand the concept of a team error beyond the ghost runners who score in extra innings.
