I get it but merely getting traded doesn't guarantee a bounce-back. He seems like a poor fit for the Phillies specifically - a big high strike-out bat who has now hit below the Mendoza Line for three straight seasons (best one, .199 last year). Of course I recognize his offensive value beyond BA but we already have Schwarber for that, and right now he doesn't even provide that value.
And I am mildly skeptical of the Gold Gloves. But either way, he has never played CF regularly - a mere 38 games games in 2019 and only 56 in his entire career. You would just be making him a worse player putting him a CF, and the corners aren't open obviously. He's also not the same age he was in 2019.
