Looks like Feliz is not going to help. Maybe he shakes out of the early bad start but so far, disaster.
I looked back and see that both home runs Nola gave up were on off speed pitches. One a change up and one a knuckle curve. So 7 of the 9 hits given up by Nolas were off speed pitches. The Marlins appear to be very good at hitting these, even when not in the strike zone. I see Feliz also gave up a huge hit on a change up.
Final line on Nola, who sees his ERA soar to 4.44, is 4.2IP, 9 hits, 7 runs, no walks, 11 Ks. Clearly, he only had 4 innings in him tonight and in spite of the impressive strike out numbers, he has a terrible start. His inconsistency continues to haunt him.
