Kapler said in his pregame interview that Cozens had had success against Fedde in the minors and that was one of the reasons he is getting the start tonight. My thought is maybe they want to showcase him too.
Has Kingery had any success against this pitcher? Kingery in the fifth spot has appeared to hurt the offense on several occasions of late. It sure would be great to see him have a good game.
I see that Danny Espinosa is now starting for LHV at shortstop. I am not looking forward to him coming up to the majors.

Hamels doesn't look like a bad idea right now.
Pivetta has done a good job in the rotation even though he clearly is not having a good start tonight.
This may turn out to be a long night for the bullpen.

Wilmer Difo singles on a ground ball to shortstop Scott Kingery.
Hamels is looking a little more interesting all of a sudden
(And I'm not saying Pivetta can't have a bad game. In fact, I think letting this rotation continue to experience ups and downs is more important than chasing the division title. But if that goal changes...)
What was Soto ranked in his international class? He is so advanced for a 19 year old. Wish we'd find someone like him (knowing there are very few players like him that advance that quickly and are that good).

Rough start but with some determination and offense, the Phillies can come back tonight.
