Does Sanchez go for a shutout? Seems like it would be better to get a reliever out there, but he certainly has had a great game.

How does Sanchez have an 84 mph Slider? It does look a little faster than that, that is a big drop off from his fastball. Going well

Is the source of the bot mistaken his slider for changeup or are they different pitches? I see some break

Is Sanchez going to move Nola down to the #4 spot? If the playoffs started tomorrow I assume Nola starts, but at some point you have to think about whether Sanchez might actually be our #3 guy

I asked Sanchez to go deep tonight, but I did not expect a complete game shutout. Masterful.

Word! That he did.

Sanchez might be the best bargain contract in baseball.
And a monument to great development.
Had him tone down his FB to work on mechanics and command last year.
This year he revved up the velo, was hitting 96-97 late in the game.
His FB also seems to sink more this year, getting more GBs.

Next step in his development is the cutter, threw a couple good ones, when it becomes 10-15% of his pitches, hitters won't be able to sit on the FB if they can't hit the changeup. At that point he might have ace potential.
