Five in three games. Cost two wins. Contributed to at least three blown saves. Doesn’t excuse pitchers and the Neris walks today, but something need to get fixed.

I don't think Hoskins is THE PROBLEM but I do agree that he is emblematic with what has gone wrong with McPhail-Klentak built Phillies. Showed promise in 2017 and the appearance of bright days ahead but then it all started to go sour in 2018 and seemingly got worse with each passing season and the culture of ineptitude has really begun to envelop him. Now, it's time to turn the page on the whole thing.

In three games against the Mets they take a one run lead into the bottom of the final inning of the game. In all three games, our reliever blows the save. This is bad even for a bad bullpen. Yet all runs scored in those three innings have been unearned runs.

I dont think Hoskins has a loser mentality. But I think this team lacks a winners mentality. ANd it lacks a true clubhouse leader. Somelike like Rose or Dutch or Howard and Chase. Realmuto seems to be more of a quiet leader. Harper is very rah rah but doesnt seem like the leader type. Cutch is the same. I dont think we have the guy thats willing to blow up in the clubhouse and call out the team to get better.

And I do believe we need a sports pyschiatrist/ mental toughness coach. The looks on some of our players sometimes. Bohm just looks defeated. I think the reason hes so bad is because, instead of being good, hes just trying too hard not to be bad. And the look on Hector's face when the ump possibly missed the call to walk in the run today. It was not just stunned.. but completely lost. I knew the game was over there.
